The construction of the IFAK kit bag is of the highest quality and can be used with MOLLE attachments on a vest or pack, or as a thigh drop leg. 

This kit includes expired items that still packs plenty of value with its U.S. made combat quality construction and componentes.  Army Navy Outdoors and the manufacturer is not able to guarantee the effectiveness of expired products.  Expiration dates are regulated by the FDA to ensure the package maintains its sterilization and the contents guarantee to be effective.  Expired gear is a great deal but should be used at your own risk or for training purposes.
